Mr. Amir Hossain is a Lecturer of Department of Pharmacy at Dhaka International University. He was graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Khulna University, Bangladesh in 2013. He has completed his Master of Pharmacy both from University of Zagreb, Croatia and Khulna University, Bangladesh. Mr. Amir is awarded several merit scholarships during his graduation and received a scholarship from European Union (Erasmus Mundus) going to Croatia as exchange student. He finds himself more creative, enthusiastic, regular and hardworking doing researches on a concrete structure. He is interested and a good research background in the field of Cellular and Molecular Biology, Pharmacogenetics and Pharmacological evaluations. During his Bachelor’s degree, he worked on Bioactivity of Boehmeria macrophylla Leaf. In Masters, he worked on Genetic Polymorphisms in relation to breast cancer with Professor Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, head of Pharmacy department, Khulna University and synthesis of novel hydroxyurea derivatives under the supervision of Dr. sc. Mirza Bojić, University of Zagreb. Doing all of these research works, he has made his willingness to improve career prospects, passion for research work and teaching, and aspiration to discover and learn new things to see professional aspirations in a bigger picture for the future. Moreover, he has 4 published research articles and other 7 articles are on process.
